Serves as Youth Pastor and Music Director, Pillchuck Valley Chapel, Licensed in 1985, Ordained 1987. Started The Lighthouse A Christian Church in 1987. Pursued post graduate studies at Multnomah Graduate School of Ministry. Assisted Worldwide Harvest Ministries in Pastor Training and New Believer Classes in Sierra Leone 1991. Started LEAD International Ministry Network in 1995, received IRS Determination in 1996. Pursued Christian support relationship to sole evangelical denomination in Guinea-Bissau. Has secured profound rapport with Government of Guinea-Bissau, and church leaders of all denominations. Has served as Senior Pastor of The Lighthouse A Christian Church since it’s founding in 1987. Affiliation: The Lighthouse is a interdenominational community church in Vancouver Washington. Served as the founder and chairman of the Fellowship of Clark County Churches, a multi denominational fellowship of pastors from orthodox Christian churches. Formal partner of the Igreja Evangelical du Guine Bissau (IEGB), and authorized by the Secretary of Commerce of Guinea-Bissau as representative in matters related to trade. Employer: The Lighthouse A Christian Church, employed as Senior Pastor since 1987, also serves LEAD International as CEO. Owns architectural design company Blondino Design since December 2004.
Mario Martinez - Executive Vice President of Operations and TreasurerBackground: Over 34 years of leadership experience in managing human resources, marketing development, project management, direct sales, strategic planning and administration in numerous senior management positions in the private corporate sector, entrepreneurial sector and since 2002 in the non-profit sector, with a consistent record of developing people, product innovation and growing revenue. In 1991 found faith in Jesus Christ. Ordained in 2000 and since serving in numerous aspects of ministry. Started being involved with LEAD International Ministry Network in 1997 and since 2002 have been spending over 50% of my time in West Africa directly involved in building and developing relationships and people. Affiliation: The Lighthouse is a interdenominational community church in Vancouver Washington. Board of Directors LEAD International and LEAD Bissau. Technical advisor to Central Social, ONG in Guinea-Bissau and Central Evangelical Church of Bissau. CEO of “No Djunta Mon - Trading agency” (private company / Farmers COOP in Guinea-Bissau formed in April 2006) Board of Directors Northwest Spanish Theological institute. Employer: Business owner and crisis management consultant since 1983, serving at The Lighthouse as Associate Pastor between 2000 and 2003. Since 2003 employed by the Lighthouse as Associate Pastor / General Manager of the Little Lights Daycare and in addition also employed by LEAD International as Executive Vice president of Operations.
Holly Blondino - Secretary of the BoardBackground: Earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing in 1990 at Linfield College. Worked at Southwest Washington Medical Center from 1989 to 2004 as a RN, with one year off (March, 1995-March, 1996). Traveled to Guinea Bissau two times in 1997: first to familiarize myself with the country and second to lead a medical team for surgery and obstetrics in the capital city of Bissau. Traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico, in 2001, for a short-term mission. Affiliation: Began attending The Lighthouse A Christian Church in June, 1988-current. Have had various leadership roles at the church: Children’s Ministry Director from March, 1995-June, 1998; Assistant to Women’s Ministry Coordinator from August, 1999-January, 2001, Women’s Ministry Coordinator from January, 2001-February, 2005; Assistant to Children’s Ministry Director from March, 2003-August, 2003. Volunteer on LEAD International board of Directors from 1995-current; Secretary on the LEAD Board since 2003. Employer: Southwest Washington Medical Center. Registered Nurse, employed as CPR instructor to greater Clark County Community. Volunteer Children’s Ministry Director at The Lighthouse A Christian Church from August, 2004-current.
Kevin Doyle - MemberBackground: Kevin Doyle has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Education and Vocationally Certified 1986, Central Washington University; Master of Education, emphasis in English Language Learning, 2000, City University and endorsed in Special Education.. Kevin has traveled to Guinea-Bissau in the summer of 2001 and 2003. While in Bissau, he taught ESL to young adults and children using his skills and special training. Affiliation: Kevin is a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church since 1992, Board member of LEAD International 2006; Member of the Washington Association of Career and Technical Education and member of the Washington Association of Diversified Occupations. Past board member of the ARC of Clark County, 1989-1993 (An Association of individuals with special needs). Employer: Employed by Battle Ground School District as a Work-Based Learning Coordinator since 1989.

Visited Guinea Bissau 2006 to see economic development project. Affiliation: Member of the board for Lead International. Dr. Carlos Pinto - President of Administrative CouncilDr. Carlos Pinto is the Internal controller of Guinea-Bissau’s Central Bank of West Africa (BCEAO). He has worked for BCEAO since 1997. He served during that time from 2000/2001 as Project Manager for the “Bank for African Development” for West Africa. In 2000, he served as Secretary of State for Economic Development, Ministry of Finance. Carlos participated from 1987 to 2002 to 13 Economic conferences and governmental missions representing the bank and the government of Guinea-Bissau in negotiating various forms of aid for Guinea-Bissau. Graduate of University of Arizona, additionally educated in France, Ghana and Portugal.
Eng. Filinto Van Martins - President of the General AssemblyFilinto is a past Minister of Education, Energy and Natural Resources / 1974 to 1981) Currently a consultant with the Guinean development organization “FUNDEI” He is in Charge of the SICAJU cashew processing plant in capital city of Bissau. Educated in Switzerland/MBA electric engineer. Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne in late 60’s, from 1981 to mid-1990 was an energy consultant on major projects for the private sectors in Capo Verde, Portugal, Angola. In mid 1990’s Filinto formed a political party to challenge the corruption in the political system, while he remained in the private sector in helping to develop numerous small businesses projects.
Ezeqiel da Sliva - President of the Financial CouncilDirector General of Administration and Finances - National Supreme Tribunal of Justice. Past Director General of Internal Revenue, Director for Department of Treasury. Has worked for the Ministry of Finance since 1992. A school teacher for 10 years. Since 1991 to current has been director for the International Human Rights commission of Guinea-Bissau. Since 2002 founder and Director of Boy Scouts of Guinea-Bissau. Educated in Portugal.
Pastor Bobo Gomes Co - Vice President of the General AssemblyFounder and Senior Pastor of Love Through Faith Ministries (MAFI) since 1997. MAFI has planted 5 churches throughout the country and has helped in humanitarian relief efforts. Pastor Bobo is largely responsible for the initial formation of LEAD-Bissau.
Pastor Domingos Dias - member General AssemblyFounder of the Antula area church for the Balanta people group. One of the longest serving pastors in the history of Guinea-Bissau, and of the largest church in the country. Pastor Dias is among the first evangelical Christian converts in Guinea-Bissau.
Dr. Armando da Silva ProcelPrivate attorney since 1988, current Parliament member and 1st Secretary of the National Assembly of Guinea-Bissau.
